What is Monumoir?
Monumoir is an AI history guide for statues, monuments, memorials, and public artworks. Point your phone at what still stands. The app identifies it, tells its story, and can speak in the monument's own voice.
How it works
- Open the scanner and point your camera at a statue, monument, memorial, or public artwork.
- Tap Scan. Monumoir uses your photo and location to identify what you are looking at.
- Read My Story, History, and notable facts, or play the audio narration.
- Save what moves you, revisit it later, and explore a map of discoveries from other explorers.
Features
Scan
Point your camera at what stands before you. Monumoir identifies it and reveals the story behind the monument, statue, memorial, or public artwork in front of you.
Stories
Every discovery includes a first-person telling (My Story), a History, and notable facts. Read them on the spot, or come back to them later.
Audio narration
Hear the past speak. With narration on, the monument tells its story in the first person. Turn narration off in Settings to hear the History instead.
History and favorites
Keep a trail of what you uncover. Favorites hold the discoveries that stay with you. History remembers every scan.
Map
Every scan can light up another place on the map. Open it to see monuments other explorers have uncovered, find stories near you, and follow a trail of discoveries you might have walked past.

Languages
New scans can be told in English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, or Spanish. Choose a language in Settings.
Monumoir Premium
The free app includes 5 monument scans and 3 audio narrations. Premium unlocks unlimited discoveries and full audio narration, and keeps every discovery in your history and favorites.
